Today I took the time to edit some files I created over the summer. These are my Library Labels that I have in my classroom. I am a big fan of the library bins from Really Good Stuff. They are fun colors and pretty sturdy to keep around. They last and I am happy with them. The price adds up, but I like my room looking organized and not an eye sore; so I don't mind spending the extra money for them. Click Here to see the bins! :)
I turn my book bins and face them backwards and place the library label on the back. I do this so that there is more of a pop of fun color in the room. I suggest printing the labels out and laminating them. They will be handled a lot and wasting ink is no fun! I use hot glue to glue my labels on. It's super easy to peel off of the plastic- if you mess up it fixable!
I have the black labels in my class. I also created a white version for those who don't want to use so much ink.
To help keep my books organized I created smaller images on Avery label paper. I cut each label into 3s and use it as a sticker for each book. For example if I have a book that belongs in the weather section I take the cute little cloud, print it on a label, then stick it to the top corner of the book so the kiddos know which book bin it belongs to. I haven't uploaded the Library Label Stickers yet. That is my next project.
