Friday was such a fun day. One of the kids in first grade brought in his pet Bearded Dragon as an award for filling up his sticker chart. He was so excited and did an awesome job at taking care of him and presenting him to the class.
Meet Sir Eric
In first Grade they are working on writing descriptive sentences. I had the kids make these cute scarecrows and write 5 to 6 sentences to describe their scarecrow. They loved it and are proud that their work is being displayed in the hall.
We are having fun and enjoying the weather here in Texas. Hopefully today we can go on a nature walk and observe Living and Nonliving things.
